Atlanta Freeways

The roads in Atlanta are insane. First of all, the roads in the city have no bike lane or room for the gutter, so you are driving right up against the sidewalk curb. It doesn't help that the lanes seem narrower that normal; buses and trucks have a hard time fitting in their lanes. Also, I can't drive anywhere without going through an intersection that has at least one burned out light and several potholes. Apparently they don't have a transportation tax here, and it definitely shows. There are also tons of freeways and freeway intersection here! If it is rush hour or there is a sporting event, beware cause all you will see is break lights.

Heading back into town the night of a game.

4-high freeway intersection.

Beautiful trees...that is the nice thing about Atlanta. Once you get out of the city (and even in the city compared to Idaho or Utah) there are tons of beautiful hills and green everywhere.
